YESTERDAY at approximately 10 am while members of the Grahamstown highway were on patrol on the N2, they spotted a suspicious black VW polo opposite the monument and searched it. During the search SAPS found a black Billabong branded plastic packet containing 668g of tik and 300 boss mandrax tablets behind the car seat.
SAPS arrested a 37 year old male for possession of drugs to the street value of R165 300
The vehicle was also seized. The suspect will appear in the Grahamstown Magistrates Court early next week. Enquiries Captain Mali Govender 0827797123.
