
THE Minister of Human Settlements, Lindiwe Sisulu together with the Gauteng MEC for Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs and Human Settlements, Paul Mashatile, launched the John Dube Mega Human Settlements Project near Duduza in Ekurhuleni this morning.
The John Dube Mega Human Settlements Project is one of the integrated human settlements projects expected to yield over 10 000 housing units on completion. The John Dube Mega Human Settlements project will also boast the first Ekurhuleni University.
This follows the recent launch of the Daggafointein Mega Project which will yield over 16 000 houses, also in Ekurhuleni.
Minister Sisulu was accompanied by Gauteng Premier David Makhura and Ekurhuleni mayor Mzwandile Masina, among other dignitaries.
