IT was with a sense of sadness when the staff of Talk of the Town held its Christmas party there last Friday, acknowledging the great breakfast that was served and the service offered.
The hotel will be closing its doors for the final time on December 1 due to Sun International’s withdrawal from protracted negotiations regarding land claims by several clans from the region.
The Fish, as it was affectionally known, was renowned for its buffet breakfasts, especially its weekend breakfasts, as a venue for many sporting activities as well as its world-class Gary Player-designed golf course.
