There was tremendous local support for a beach clean-up from West Beach to Kelly’s Beach in Port Alfred on Saturday morning, just before the King of the Kowie surfing competition. The initiative was spearheaded by the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) and Kowie Boardriders Club, with support from Port Alfred High School pupils and other locals.
