Exercise while you work – A lesson in how to keep fit by Roland Gaspar
Ever had one of those days when you didn’t feel like going to the gym but know you needed the workout?
Then Algoa radio presenter, Roland Gaspar has the answer.
A snippet of Gaspar’s Super Laughs comedy special which he performed at Harry Bs last Thursday evening.
Gaspar is famous for his stint as the Makro Man on TV advertisements, as well as the Mi-Way Guy, along with various appearances on TV shows, on film and as the Algoa FM’s The Drive presenter. In Port Alfred, where Gaspar lived for a few years, he will be best remembered as the host and impresario who put on several great comedy events in the town.
Gaspar has made a lot of money for charity with his Pole Dancing (“ah, that’s nice of him. Those Eastern Europeans don’t get much in the way of entertainment”). Now Gaspar is rehearsing ballet-moves for his debut charity performance of the Dying Swan (“I think I might have stood on it”).
A review of the show will be found in next week’s Talk of the Town.
