Seven killed in multi-vehicle accident in Gauteng

At least seven people were confirmed dead and several others injured in a multiple-vehicle collision on the N3 Barry Marais in Vosloorus on Monday.

ER24, which attended to the scene, said the collision involved four trucks and four light motor vehicles.

“Initial reports show that there have been seven fatalities and several injuries. Paramedics are still on the scene,” said ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring.

Meiring said more details would be provided later.
