

Six-year-old kidney recipient, Alexandra Taljard, recently received a surprise visit from one of Hollywood’s biggest stars, Tom Hanks, while she was undergoing treatment at the Evelina Children’s Hospital at Guys and St Thomas’s in Westminster, London.
Hanks has voiced the character of Woody in the movie since the original Toy Story movie was released in 1995.
“He [Hanks] came and introduced himself and sat and chatted with Alex about the movies,” said Lisa. “Her favourite is Toy Story 3 which she has watched three times. He did a few lines from the movie for her in Woody’s voice which she enjoyed very much.”
