Take a look at the entries in our photographic competition

The Talk of the Town ES Young photographic competition which began last week has attracted many and diverse entries.

The following are the entries from the first week.

Although there were several notable entries, there can only be one winner per week, who gets the R1 000 prize. Each winner will also become a finalist for the grand prize of R2 000 sponsored by Bev Young in honour of her late husband.

HISTORIC EDIFICE: Our first winner in this year’s Talk of the Town ES Young photographic competition is Settlers Park resident Ewa Mogilnicka, for her picture of the old settler church on Port Alfred’s east bank

The winner of that prize will in turn be entered into a regional competition with TotT’s sister newspapers, The Rep in Komani and the Go! & Express in East London, and stands a chance of winning a Go-Pro Hero 5 Session, valued at R5 495, from Orms. The overall winner will be announced on August 31.
