A leap into the frog world

The Probus Club held a meeting at the Port Alfred Ski-boat Club in Port Alfred last Tuesday where Chad Keates, a Rhodes University zoology PhD candidate doing molecular systematics on African snakes, was the guest speaker.

Keates has a blog in which he shares information and photographs and has labelled himself as the next generation herpetologist. He provides snake awareness classes in the Eastern Cape and travels around photographing the amazing diversity of South African wildlife.
