
Bathurst was buzzing last Saturday night – between the Tour de LA, Unathi Mankayi’s gig at Emzini Lounge and the scary folk on the Halloween Walking Dinner. Were you there? Sue Maclennan took most of the photos including some at Emzini.

PIT STOP: Participants in the Tour de LA (that’s Lower Albany!) at the Pig and Whistle - just some of the extraordinary people doing extraordinary things in Bathurst last Saturday night. Organiser of the three-day annual cycling event past giraffes, pineapples and mielies, Justin Stirk (holding up the beer mug) explained that they traditionally book out the venue for the Saturday night. Presumably the start to Sunday morning’s leg of the Tour de LA is optional…
