THE Bathurst dog show on Sunday was a great success with dogs and people alike of all shapes and sizes parading and chilling on the Bathurst Village Green.

Dogs were judged in the categories of lookalike, happy family, friendliest, cutest puppy, oldest, obedience, fancy dress, tricks and Ms and Mr Brat.

There were alpacas and mini-horses, horseback rides and other treats and an all-day market with music and food.  Visitors could also vote for their favourite dog photograph.

“The Bathurst Dog Show went ahead without any rain thankfully,” said dog judge, Anne Heron, “as the show had been rained out twice before.”
