THIS Saturday why not test drive a brand new Ford from the local dealership and service station and help to raise up to R10 000 for Port Alfred High School.
The initiative by Ford started as a way to help give back to the community by raising funds for each car that is test driven this upcoming Saturday.
Interested persons with a valid driver’s licence can go to PAHS from 9am and test drive any vehicle for free.
The goal is to have 100 people test drive any of the Ford vehicles on display so that PAHS can earn R10 000. PAHS principal Clive Pearson appealed to all parents, staff, pupils with licenses and friends of the school to support the campaign.
Through the Drive 4 UR School programme, schools or community organisations can raise money for virtually anything, ranging from athletic equipment for school teams to canned foods to fill a food pantry.
