PostNet Port Alfred celebrates its second birthday

POSTNET was founded in 1994, a time when there was an urgent need in South Africa for an operation that could deliver a range of efficient business solutions.

Today, PostNet is SA’s largest privately-owned counter network in the document and parcel industry, trading across over 300 owner-managed retail stores. PostNet serves in excess of 60 000 ‘walk-in’ customers per day, countrywide. There are five product types within PostNet; Courier, Copy and Print, Digital (including internet, email, fax and scanning) as well as Stationery and Mailboxes.

PostNet Port Alfred opened its doors in the Heritage Mall on October 1, 2015, and are proud to announce they are serving the communities of Port Alfred and surrounding areas for the past two years. The company is well established in town and wanted to thank all its loyal clients for their continuous support over the past two years.

“You made it possible for us to reflect a continuous growth, month on month,” said owner Andre van Vuuren who co-owns the business with his wife, Mariana. “We started with one staff member and, today,y there are three well-trained and friendly ladies in store, always ready to look after your needs.”

For its second-year anniversary, PostNet Port Alfred will be launching an interesting competition.

“All our clients are welcome to enter, and entry forms are available in our store situated at the Heritage Mall,” said Van Vuuren. “Prizes are being sponsored by the Halyards Hotel, and Tasha’s, the new restaurant that opened on the first of September at the Small Boat Harbour. Our ladies in the store will tell you more about the prizes and discounts on products available when you collect your entry form.”

Congratulating them on their second year, the PostNet Port Alfred team also received vouchers from Camelot spa where they will be treated to a back, neck and shoulder massage, 30 minutes each. This massage helps relieve tension in the neck, shoulders, as well as the upper and lower back.

PostNet is also launching its new Platinum Loyalty Card which will entitle customers to a free local courier shipment for every nine local parcels sent through PostNet Port Alfred (T’s and C’s apply).

But this is not the end of the good news or the two-year Celebration.

“We installed a new hi-tech Cannon wide format printer in the store and will also be able to print the following for our clients in future:

Plan printing colour and B/W, plan copying colour and B/W, plans scanning colour and B/W, matt, satin and gloss posters, all of which can be done from A2 to A0

“We are excited about our new year ahead and look forward to continue offering excellent service,” said Vqn Vuuren.
