Port Alfred High School’s latest musical extravaganza, Rock Through the Ages, by Grades 1-3, was again a crowd-pleaser, with the school hall packed with parents, grandparents, siblings and other supporters last Friday night. The journey of song was colourful, upbeat and humorous, with the children dancing and singing along to many toe-tapping classics of yesteryear, like ‘Blue Suede Shoes’, ‘Yellow Polka Dot Bikini’, ‘500 Miles’ and ‘Ag Pleez Deddy’. Credit goes to Sha-Loui Dance School for the choreography, Jolene Campbell for the colourful costumes, the foundation phase teachers for the decor and Michelle Nel for her superb job as director. JON HOUZET took the pictures.
