Record turnout for centenary Remembrance Day parade

Piper Chris Terry plays while members of the SA Legion, Moths, SA Air Force Association, First City Regiment and the First City Regimental Association lay wreaths at the Battleaxe Shellhole, Port Alfred, in memory of those who gave their lives in the Great War, 1914-1918. Today marked the 100th anniversary of the Armistice which ended the war, on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918. There was a record turnout of locals for the memorial service.
