The Sunshine Life Centre is dedicated to empowering individuals facing developmental challenges, many of whom are affected by poverty and unemployment. To address these challenges, the Centre offers three core programs aimed at boosting income opportunities. The first is an employment program that builds workplace and occupational skills, connecting clients with recruitment services. The second is an enterprise development program that helps participants plan and launch their own micro-enterprises. Finally, the Centre engages in product manufacturing, with items sold to generate income for its beneficiaries.

These programmes are made possible through the generous support of our community and local businesses. Recently, this support was highlighted when one of the micro-enterprises we are helping to launch, Dee’s Fastfoods, received start-up funding from local businessman Keith Buttermer of Scanmin. Additionally, when we approached Cycle Asylum about purchasing a bicycle, they offered to donate one to Dee’s, even refurbishing it with new parts and adding a rear rack. This bicycle will enable Dee’s to expand its reach and better serve customers with deliveries.

Together, as a community, we are building a society focused on people, with opportunities for everyone to lead fulfilling lives and contribute to the greater good. This is how we make a difference. Thank you Cycle Asylum.
