

EVERY morning, Nandipha Chani wakes up, prepares vetkoek, filled with either chicken livers or polony, and goes to work.
Chani is a street vendor. Her tuck shop is situated at the bus stop directly across the street from Ikamva Lesizwe Combined School in Ekuphumleni, to which pupils flock before and after school.
