Rain Ndoro raced alone in her event at the El Shaddai Christian Academy swimming gala at the Port Alfred Indoor Pool on Friday morning.
Needless to say, she won the U10 25m breaststroke final as no other pupil wished to swim in the race.
Here we can see her for the last 15m of the race and, from the shouts of encouragement she received she could have been competing in the Olympics. Yet it took courage to race alone so congratulations to Rain Ndoro.
